The formal structure of IHC (The Temple) includes the professional staff, the clerical and maintenance staff, the Religious School, the Early Childhood Center, the Temple Foundation, and the Temple's Board of Directors. These segments run the religious, business and financial affairs of IHC. These groups are made up of paid employees of the Temple and/or volunteers.

An informal but necessary part of IHC are the Temple Arms. These are the groups that are devoted to particular age or gender portions of our membership. Each Temple Arm is self governed, develops its own committee structure and provides its own programming. The elected presidents of these organizations represent their respective constituencies as members of the Temple Board of Directors.
